Writing is a recent hobby. I never realised that maybe what I wrote was something people would want to read.
I went to the University for the Creative Arts from 2019 to 2023 and did a degree in Fine Art. Over that time my art practice was chopped, changed and forced into boxes it didn't fit in. I was also going through a lot personally, with challenges I didn't yet fully understand. All of that led to some pretty interesting brainstorms, notes and artwork to reflect on three years later.
I suppose this blog exists because I want to share my thoughts in a world that is so unfair, masked and fake — so unaware of the effects it has on the individuals trying to survive within it. I want my words to speak to people and make them feel seen and understood, or maybe to make them see something from a new perspective, or question what they thought was the only way forward. My words are by no means profound, but they are very human. And in a world that's increasingly becoming inhuman, I feel that being human is almost more important than anything else.
